Bobby Fulton Scholarship Fund

Bobby Fulton was a remarkable young man whose spirit exemplified everything good in the youth of our country.  He was a graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High School, where he was a Scholar Athlete Award winner excelling in varsity basketball and golf.  Bobby was the Captain of the HMHS golf team that won the Colonial Conference Championship and spent his summers caddying at Tavistock Country Club.

He attended Lafayette College where he was the 1st freshman to earn a varsity letter since World War II, competing in numerous ECAC college golf tournaments.  He was killed in an automobile accident in the summer of 1973 shortly after he completed his freshman year at Lafayette.

Shortly after this tragedy two Tavistock members met with the Fulton family to decide what they could do to perpetuate Bobby’s memory.  Bobby’s father, Robert E. Fulton, and grandfather, Samuel E. Fulton both led lives characterized by service to youth.  With this premise in mind the Bobby Fulton Memorial Scholarship Fund was established.
